Foster Parents Needed
The first and most important step in helping children who have been abused, neglected, and/or abandoned, is ensuring their physical safety. Ennis Center needs caring foster parents to assist us in making a real difference in the lives of these children. We work closely with our foster parents and provide training and ongoing support. If you, or someone you know, is interested in learning more about foster parenting, please call:
888-200-8915 (Oakland and Genesee Counties) or
800-492-3678 (Wayne and St. Clair Counties)
and ask for our Licensing Department. If you have room in your home and love in your heart, there’s a child who needs you!

I would like to receive more information on becoming a foster parent, I would like to be the positive difference in a childs life. I would appreciate some additional information.
Thank You,

Hello, I am interested in starting a SIL placement for kids in need of shelter and Life Preperatation skills. I am having a difficult finding the requirements to get started.
Hi Ken,
I believe most of these contract are given by the State to agencies. However, you should visit the website michigan.gov/dhs and search ‘semi-independent living’ and ‘youth in transition’. You may find a contact phone number, too. Good luck!
