BEHAVIORAL HEALTH PROGRAM
Ennis Center’s Behavioral Health program is designed to provide intensive services to children, between the ages of 7 and 17, and their families who have multiple needs that require access to various mental health, clinical and community services. The primary goals are to focus on promoting normal developmental mile-stones, supporting and promoting healthy family functioning, along with preserving and reuniting families while reducing the need for institutional care in psychiatric hospitals and other special placements.
Program staff includes Bachelor-level Case Managers, Master-level Therapists, a Registered Nurse, a Psychiatrist and a Clinical Director. The Behavioral
Health treatment team provides:
- An extensive intake assessment that includes psychosocial and psychiatric evaluations
- 24/7 crisis planning and intervention
- Therapy and case management services
- Academic assistance
- Physical health and nutrition education
- Referrals to community resources
