Make a Monetary Donation
We have been working with Michigan’s abused and neglected children since 1978 and never before have your donations been so important to our ability to continue, improve and enhance our proven services.  Government funding continues to shrink while the needs of children in crisis remain the same.

Ennis Center is a 501(c)(3) organization licensed by the State of Michigan and nationally accredited by the Council on Accreditation for Children and Families (COA).  Your donation is tax-deductible to the amount allowed by law.  To donate, you may click the following link or mail your donation to:

Attend or Sponsor an Event
Annual Golf Outing
This is currently our biggest fundraiser.  It includes a round of golf with cart, lunch, dinner, golfer goody bags, door prizes, raffles and silent auction.  We also have guest speakers who will share their Ennis Center experiences.

Typically held on the third Friday in June, we are always looking for golfers to join us and have received many compliments from attendees on how fun and well-organized this event is.  Bring your friends and head out for a fun-filled day on the course for a good cause!  Corporate sponsorships and advertising opportunities are also available.  To be on our mailing list or for more info about this event, please call 810-233-4031 or e-mail development@enniscenter.org.

Summer Picnic
Each summer we bring the children in all of our foster care programs and their foster families together for a day of outdoor fun and play. The day includes food, games, crafts, and prizes.  This event gives children who have been through a great deal in their young lives, an opportunity to enjoy carefree, outdoor childhood activities.  It also gives siblings who may be living in separate foster homes an extra opportunity to spend time together.  Foster parents also benefit from the interaction with other foster parents.

This event is attended by approximately 300 foster children, foster families, and staff.  Expenses such as food, venue, bus transportation, craft and game items, prizes, and machine rental are not reimbursable by any of our government contracts.

Holiday Parties
Each holiday season, Ennis Center holds a holiday party for children in our foster care programs.  We have one each for Genesee, Oakland, St. Clair, and Wayne Counties.  These parties provide dinner, gift bags, crafts, and a visit and photo with Santa Claus.  These expenses are not reimbursable by any of our contracts.  If you would like to sponsor a holiday party, please contact our Development Department at 810-233-4031 or e-mail development@enniscenter.org.

Make a Donation of Goods
Our organization can always use the following items (new and unopened only, please):
Diapers (all sizes)
Clothing for children and teens (preemie to adult sizes, all seasons)
Office Supplies
School Supplies
Gifts for children and teens aged birth – 19 years
Goody Bag Items for our golf outing
Door prizes, raffle and auction items for our golf outing
Items for foster care graduates heading to college
