Juvenile Justice Case Management  

Community-Based Delinquency Program  

The Community-Based Delinquency (CBD) Program’s specially trained staff works intensely with delinquent youth and their families in becoming positive, productive members of their communities. CBD staff, which includes a Community Specialist, a Community Aide, and master level Therapists, develops individualized treatment plans for each youth and provides the following services:

  • Strength based needs assessments
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Mentoring and transportation assistance
  • Educational and employment tracking
  • Substance abuse counseling and screening

Youth Assistance Program 

The Youth Assistance Program (YAP) provides services to youth who have come to the attention of the juvenile justice system in Wayne County and at risk of continued involvement in the justice system. The Youth Assistance Program provides: 

  • Mentoring and education assistance
  • Problem solving and anger management counseling
  • Peer group counseling in building positive relationships and decision making skills
  • Behavioral, mental health and substance abuse counseling
